Reiki Training
Participants can eventually earn their Reiki certification by completing our courses. We keep our interactive classes small so that everyone has plenty of time for practice and have their questions answered during the training.

Usui Reiki Level 1 (2 days)
Covers history of Reiki, 4 Attunements to receive Reiki Energy, giving treatments, hand positions.
Reiki level 1 is a two-day course with small classes (4 – 6 people) to enable a more friendly and individual experience. On completion of the course, you will have an illustrated Reiki Manual, the First Degree Reiki Certificate as well as receiving on-going support and advice.
During this training, you will receive 4 Attunements to receive the Reiki Energy and learn:-
- What is Reiki?
- Reiki history
- Reiki principles & Ethics
- Hand positions for Treatment for others & for Self-Healing
- Practical healing sessions on each other

Usui Reiki Level 2 (1 day): The Practitioner’s Degree
Covers 2 further Attunements and 3 sacred symbols to strengthen mental and emotional healing and send absentee healing.
This course is a one-day course which will allow you to practice at a practitioner level. You will receive a manual and certificate as well as ongoing support and advice. At this level of Reiki additional energy centres are opened and you are connected to a greater volume of Reiki Energy.
During the course, you are given three sacred symbols, each having a specific function. These symbols can then be used as a focus to enable you to strengthen mental and emotional healing and to send absentee healing. A large part of the training received in Second Degree is centred on the understanding and use of these symbols.
In Reiki 2 you will receive two further Attunements which provide greatly amplified energy and its focus is on the etheric body rather than the physical. As a result of these Attunements, you may develop both a greater sensitivity to energy and a psychic awareness.
- Focus the energy on the release of mental and emotional blocks.
- Focus your mind to enable to send Reiki energy beyond time and space and thus bring about effective absentee healing.

Usui Reiki Level 3 Master/Teacher level (2 days)
Covers 3 advanced Attunements and one further sacred symbol to take you to teacher level and the spiritual level, learning how to attune new students to Reiki energy, revising past learning and develop personally.
Usui Reiki Master/Teacher (Shiki Ryoho)
Often this is split into 2 courses, but we teach it in the traditional way over two days. At the completion of this level, you will have received the final Usui Reiki Master symbol and be able to teach and attune others should you wish. This is the level where you ‘become the energy’.
At this level you will cover:-
- The day will be about meditation and spiritual development
- An overview of Reiki 1 & 2
- You’re sharing your experience at these levels, why you would like to progress
- Understanding & insight into of Reiki master/teacher level
- Receive Attunements for this level
- Receive the last Usui symbol and how to use it
- Learning how to attune another person at each level and practice it
- Learning how to use the Hui Yin for an Attunements
- Guidelines for teaching

Karuna® Reiki Levels 1 & 2 (combined)
Covers Karuna and Spiritual Guidance, Karuna symbols, Healing the Shadow Self, Toning and Chanting and a Practice Session.
For those who have attained Usui Reiki Master Level.
Karuna Reiki is a healing energy that assists us in awakening to Universal compassion and the wisdom of our soul. Compassion is a state of consciousness, which when combined with energy, has great transformational power.
The Karuna Attunements allow a blending on very deep levels with the Universal vibration of Usui Reiki to bring about deep healing. It is a natural progression from Usui Reiki mixing and interweaving with the energy.
Karuna Reiki that is being sent by all the enlightened beings opens you to work more consciously with these enlightened beings. Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism & Buddhism.
Karuna Reiki® Training Questions
It is translated to mean any action that is taken to “diminish the suffering of others” and could be translated as “compassionate action”, to give Karuna or extend compassionate action to everyone, all beings benefit. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you assisting others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all the enlightened beings, Karuna Reiki opens you to work more consciously with these enlightened beings.
